| Total success in Frankfurt at the world’s largest lighting fair |

A new visitor record was set at the sixth Light + Building Fair, from 11 to 16 April 2010 in Frankfurt am Main: more than 180,000 visitors attended the world’s most important trade fair for these sectors. Europoles as well was pleased at the veritable storm of visitors to its fair stand.

Over the past weeks Europoles has installed two truly giant poles in Swinemünde
Harbour, on the island of Usedom near the Baltic Sea coast. The solution for an overhead powertransmission line was challenging: to cross the Swina (the estuary of the River Oder into the Baltic Sea), we are talking about a span of 477 metres! |

| Despite the financial crisis, investment in quality and long-lived products |

| The pole manufacturer Europoles, based in Neumarkt, Germany, is presently constructing a highly advanced factory for building steel poles in Poland. Production facilities for lighting and high-voltage poles will be erected in two construction phases. The plant is centrally located in Konin, between Poznañ and Warsaw, and allows favourable transport connections. |

| It hasn’t even been 12 months since Europoles, pole producers headquartered in Neumarkt, Germany, held the groundbreaking ceremony for an advanced spun-concrete pole plant in Nizwa, Oman. Now, construction of the new factory hall – in addition to ancillary facilities for laboratory, workshops, small-parts warehousing, offices, and staff rooms – is virtually complete. |

| Regional Society for Protection of Birds and Association for Protection of the Landscape profit from the Fourth Europoles Summer Fest |

| By making two donations, Europoles – manufacturers of poles, masts, and towers – has supported environmental protection work in its district of Neumarkt. The Regional Society for Protection of Birds and the Association for Protection of the Landscape each received cheques for 500 euros. The donated amount resulted from the profits from the Fourth Europoles Summer Fest, which the mast and tower specialist in Neumarkt organized for its staff and their friends and family. |

| 700 Gäste tummelten sich am vergangenen Freitag im Mastenpark auf dem Europoles-Werksgelände. Zum vierten Mal veranstaltete der Neumarkter Mastenhersteller sein Sommerfest. Mitarbeiter aus allen deutschen Unternehmensniederlassungen sowie aus den Standorten aus Oman, Polen, Spanien und der Schweiz amüsierten sich mit ihren Partnern und Familien bis tief in die Nacht. |

| Neumarkt and Werl, Germany – The European market-leader for masts and towers has expanded its portfolio of goods and services by addition of surface-treatment technology. The new company Eurocoatings has taken over the entire business of Merckx Oberflächentechnik, in Werl, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and thereby becomes the leading surface-technology company for steel masts in Europe. |
